THE ROVER
The Rover has been designed with efficiency and simplicity in mind – enabling a versatile, cost-effective solution for any size operation. The on-rack rails allow the robot to seamlessly transition from tote locations regardless of the floor condition and thus requires no floor preparation beforehand. The Rover can be installed on existing shelving and can be easily transported to another location.
With a built expandable tray, the Rover can automatically adapt to various sizes of totes and cartons in the same system allowing for high storage occupancy. The tray can be configured to retrieve totes from up to 3-deep allowing for over 200% storage density.
THE R40
Working seamlessly with the Rover, the R40 ground bots allow for quick transportation of goods from storage to the picking stations and back. An optimized fleet manager is at the core of the R40 bots motion, enabling the robots to move up to 2m/s and navigate efficiently to it’s destination. An onboard BMS (battery management system) keeps track of each bot and automatically goes to charging when needed.
The scissor-lift mechanism on the R40 bot allows the goods to be handled in two different operations: directly by the picker, or transferred to a motorized roller for autonomous picking, to create a buffer or for further processing. If a higher throughput is required during peak seasons, more R40 bots can be easily added with no need for any additional set up making the entire Rover system greatly versatile and adaptable for increasing needs.
Struggling with traditional warehousing? Here's what's holding you back...
What is the max carrying load?
The Rover and R40 bots can carry up to 50kg
How fast does it move?
While the R40 bots can move at 2m/s, the Rover can zip by at up to 5m/s!
How many Rovers can fit in one aisle?
There is no limit as to how many Rovers can be placed in one aisle. From an efficiency perspective, our dedicated engineers will calculate the required Rovers per aisle to achieve the optimal efficiency
Can I use plastic totes and cardboard boxes?
Yes! The Rover system is one of the few ASRS’s that allow the use of both carton and plastic totes – in the same system at the same time!
Can I really use multiple sized totes in the same system?
Yes! One of the big advantages of the Rover system is its flexibility – especially when it comes to tote sizes. Different sizes totes, both plastic and cardboard, can be used at the same time, in the same system with the same Rover.
What is the maximum tote size?
The Rover and R40 bots can handle totes up to 800mm x 800mm x 800mm!
